The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) has been established in the college to aid and advise students belonging to marginalized sections including
Scheduled Castes (SC),Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Communities (OBCs),minority communities, etc., who are pursuing various programmes in the college.

• To ensure equity and equal opportunity to the community at large in the college and bring about social inclusion.
• To create a socially congenial atmosphere for academic interaction and the growth of healthy interpersonal relationships among students from diverse social backgrounds.
• To sensitize the academic community regarding issues related to social exclusion and the aspirations of marginalized communities.
• To look into the grievances of weaker sections of society and suggest amicable solutions to their problems.
• To disseminate information related to schemes and programmes meant for the welfare of socially weaker sections.
